Our History

The milestones of our company’s history and development are as follows: 

April 2008

EnQuest Energy Services Corp. is formed as a result of the amalgamation of Sikanni Services and Irontree Oilfield Services.

February 2008

Sikanni Services and Irontree Oilfield Services announce intention to merge by plan of arrangement.

February 2008

Tubular Transport enters into a partnership with Energy Tubulars to develop a materials distribution facility to store, handle and distribute tubular products in the United States.

December 2007

Sikanni further expands its US operations by deploying an additional 50 wheeled storage tanks in Montana and North Dakota under a long term contract.

October 2007

Sikanni announces new Gateway Division to provide materials distribution, transload and transportation services in Northern Alberta and British Columbia.

July 2007

Sikanni expands into the United States with a long-term contract to supply 40 of its wheeled storage tanks to an energy services company based in Montana.

June 2007

Northwell Oilfield Hauling with operations in Swan Hills, Whitecourt and Fox Creek is acquired whereby expanding Sikanni’s rig relocation / oilfield hauling service base.

March 2007

Speedy acquires the transportation assets of W. L. Ryan Trucking Ltd. whereby expanding the oilfield hauling and rig relocation into Texas. 

January 2007

Irontree acquires the assets of Caprock Pipe and Supply of New Mexico including the oil country tubular goods manufacturing, refurbishment and distribution operations. 

January 2007

Twilight Oilfield Hauling based in Grande Prairie, AB, a regional rig relocation specialist, joins Sikanni group by way of an acquisition.

Jaunuary 2007

Speedy opens up operations in Rock Springs, Wyoming to expand it service offering to the Jonah field.

December 2006

Sikanni becomes a publicly traded company on the TSX Venture exchange.

May 2006

Speedy starts operations in Arkansas to meet customer demand for rig relocation, hoisting and speciality hauling.

April 2006

Baumann Trucking, with oil field transport and mud distribution operations in Grande Cache, Alberta, amalgamates with Sikanni Services.

March 2006

Speedy expands it rig moving and transportation services into Montana and North Dakota.

September 2005

Sikanni Services incorporates and starts to take delivery of 100 wheeled, storage tanks. 

May 2005

Speedy forms Tubular Transportation Inc. to transport pipe and other related materials in the Rocky Mountain region.

March 2005

Speedy acquired the operating assets of Lifetime Management and Construction Ltd., an oilfield transportation company based in Northern Alberta.  The equipment is relocated to the existing Speedy – Wyoming operation.

February 2005

Speedy acquires the shares of Northern Truck and Crane Inc., an oil and gas transportation company with operations in Northern California. 

December 2004

Speedy forms Summit Crane & Rigging Inc.

September 2003

Speedy acquired the operating assets of Henderson Heavy Haul Inc. to provide increased transportation services to western Colorado and Utah. 

October 2002

Irontree acquires Speedy Heavy Hauling from Cage Logistics.  Speedy has oilfield hauling rig relocation operations in Rifle, Colorado and Farmington, New Mexico.    

October 2002

Irontree Oilfield Services Corp. is incorporated.
